.Common Driveway/Pipestem Etiquette -
BCA would like to send a friendly reminder that there are many common driveways throughout Brambleton. Common driveways, also referred to as pipestems, are not BCA or public property. They are private property of the homes that they service. Please be mindful of the following common drive/pipestem etiquette practices:
- Ensure that your extended family, caregivers, and children understand that common driveways are private property.
- If you do not reside on the pipestem, do not access it unless you are a guest or visitor of the resident.
- If you live adjacent to the pipestem, but your home is not serviced by the pipestem, you are not entitled to use it (e.g. parking in it at any time).
- Parking on a common driveway is only allowed for service, delivery, and emergency vehicles.
- No use of the pipestem should affect or impede the free and continuous use of any other pipestem homeowner.
Cooperation with these reasonable guidelines is appreciated. Please contact the Community Standards department
