COMMUNITY STANDARDS

Post-Modification Application Fees Begin 1/1/22 - The BCA Board of Directors has approved a Post-Modification Application Fee of $100 for all exterior modifications started or constructed without prior approval by the Covenants Committee. This fee will take effect on January 1, 2022, providing a grace period for property owners to apply for any exterior modifications made without an application or approval before the end of the year. To avoid the upcoming application fees, owners are encouraged to submit applications for any unapproved modifications during this grace period. The Design Review Application can be found here, and the schedule of upcoming Covenants Committee Meetings and application deadlines can be found here. Visit www.brambletonhoa.com/designreview for additional information on the Design Review application process and BCA Design Guidelines. Please contact the Community Standards department with any questions or concerns.

Seeking New Covenants Committee Member - We are currently seeking a new Covenants Committee member to fill one vacant position on the committee. If you are interested, or know someone who is, please visit our Covenants Committee page for more information. Those interested in joining this committee can find an application form here. If you have any questions, please email designreview@brambleton.org or call Andrea Dao, Community Standards & Administration Manager, at 703-542-6263.

Winter Preparation of Hose Bibs - With the colder weather approaching, it’s time to retire your garden hose! Every year it’s important to turn off your outdoor water supply lines correctly. If this is done incorrectly, any water left in the supply line can freeze and expand, causing the pipes to split. Click here to follow step-by-step tips to make sure that your hose bib is prepared for winter.
