Weed Control & Fertilizer Application - The Association’s grounds maintenance contractor will be applying weed control and fertilizer starting Monday, August 6th. Work could take up to two weeks to complete and is dependent on weather. Please contact email@example.com if you have questions or need more information.
VDOT Slurry Seal Application on Brambleton Streets - VDOT has begun the next phase of its residential street asphalt maintenance, which involves the spreading of slurry seal. The work is currently scheduled to be performed until Friday, August 10th. Residents may park overnight in the upper or lower levels of the Brambleton Town Center garages while this work is underway. Dead Tree Removal - The Brambleton community and the East Coast continue to be impacted by the emerald ash borer (EAB). The Association will be removing dead or partially dead ash trees on maintained common areas throughout the community over the next month. Replacement trees will be considered on maintained common areas. Dead and hazardous trees in natural common areas will also be addressed.
Blasting Operations in Birchwood - Blasting operations are underway and will continue for approximately the next three months. Blasting may be felt at times by residents living in the southeast corner of the community (Sections 15, 21, 24, and 27).
Sizzlin' Summer Concert Series - Our 2018 Sizzlin’ Summer Concert Series concludes with As If on Thursday, August 9th from 7 to 9 PM! This free concert is located on the western end of Legacy Park. Gates open at 6 PM. No pets please.
Teen Late Night Swim - Rising 6th - 12th graders are invited to our Teen Late Night Swim at Beacon Crest Pool on Friday, August 10th from 8 to 10 PM! Pool passes are required, and guest passes are allowed for up to four guests per household.
Movie on the Green: Wonder - Come with your family to the Brambleton Corner Clubhouse on Friday, August 17th and enjoy Wonder! This free screening will start around dusk (8:30 PM), and seating is first come, first served. We will have free popcorn for you to enjoy, and the pool will be open until 8 PM before the movie.

Comprehensive Lot Inspections - Community Standards Advisors will be conducting comprehensive inspections in Section 12 beginning Monday, August 20th, with ongoing comprehensive inspections continuing in Sections 22 and Brandt. Included in these inspections is confirmation that proper documentation for all modifications is on file with the Association. All inspections are performed by BCA staff. Staff does not enter fenced yards or access decks during these inspections. In accordance with the Association’s enforcement policies, notice will be sent to provide time to correct items noted to be in violation of Brambleton’s governing documents or policies. Construction of Approved Modifications - Owners are responsible for ensuring that their contractors adhere to Brambleton’s standards and rules. It is important to know that construction materials of any kind may not be stored in common parking lots, common areas, or in the street. Excavated materials such as grass clippings, turf, dirt, sand, or rocks may not be dumped in any wooded areas or common areas and especially not in the wetlands. When planning a project, BCA recommends that you review plans with your contractor for proper placement and storage of construction materials along with proper disposal of debris to avoid costly delays or cleanup. Peddlers & Solicitors - There has been an increase in concerns related to aggressive salespeople going door-to-door in the community this summer. Solicitors are required to be licensed by the County according to Loudoun County Ordinance, Chapter 828 – Peddlers & Solicitors. Residents concerned that non-permitted solicitors or permitted solicitors are not adhering to the ordinance are encouraged to contact the Sheriff’s office non-emergency phone number at 703-777-1021.
